Adam began studying and forecasting Eastern Iowa weather after the area disasters of the spring of 2008. After several years of studying daily observation analysis, he began documenting localized events in 2011.
As a Cedar Rapids native, Adam has successfully published work in photography of lightning, shelf clouds, wall clouds, funnel clouds, and mammatus clouds. Time lapse videography. Filmed a QLCS tornado and had a viral derecho video, all from locations in the southern 380 corridor.
He continues to devote time in local weather studies and is becoming more involved in the storm chasing community. Adam enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors golfing, fishing, or storm chasing.
