Vinton Iowa Rated EF-2 Tornado

The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has completed their storm survey from Vinton, Iowa. It has been confirmed that an EF-2 tornado with peak winds of 135-mph moved through town in the early morning hours Sunday. The tornado had a max width of 100 yards, and a length of 1.62 miles.
